What this notice covers

This notice applies only to information you send me through this website or by email when you make an enquiry. If you become a therapy client, or we agree to work together on a production, I’ll send you a contract or client agreement that explains how your information, including any clinical information, is stored and handled.

What information I collect

When you complete a contact form or email me, I collect:

  • your name and email address

  • your production company, if you’re making an enquiry about duty of care or script consultancy

  • the message you write, including anything you tell me about what you would like help with

Please keep details to a minimum. If you include health information in a message, I will treat it as confidential and handle it carefully, but I would ask you not to share detailed information until we’ve spoken.

The website is hosted by Squarespace, which may also collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, through cookies and similar technology. You can control cookies through the banner on this site and through your browser settings.

How I use your information

I use your information to:

  • reply to your enquiry and arrange an initial conversation

  • decide whether I’m the right person to help

  • keep a short record of the enquiry

I don’t use your information for marketing, and I don’t sell or share it for advertising.

My lawful basis

I rely on your consent, given when you tick the box on the form, and on my legitimate interest in responding to enquiries made to my practice. If you share information about your health, I process it so that I can consider providing you with care, on the basis of your explicit consent.

Who else sees your information

Your enquiry is stored in my Squarespace account and in my email system, which is provided by Microsoft. These providers process information on my behalf under their own data protection terms. Some of their servers are located outside the UK, and they use appropriate safeguards for these transfers. I don’t share your enquiry with anyone else unless you ask me to, or unless the law requires it.

How long I keep it

If you don’t go on to become a client or work with me, I will delete your enquiry. If you do become a client, or we begin work together on a production, your information will be handled as described in the relevant client or contract information.

Your rights

You have the right to ask me to:

  • tell you what information I hold about you

  • correct anything that is inaccurate

  • delete your information

  • restrict or object to how I use it

  • withdraw your consent at any time

To make a request, email me at the address above. If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, although I’d always prefer the chance to put things right first.
